A Flying B Apiaries × Fox Hops Brewery Collaboration
Two West Virginia craft makers. One exceptional pint.
Flying B Apiaries and Fox Hops Brewery share a commitment to quality, craft, and community. As small-batch makers rooted in West Virginia, we love what we do—whether it's tending hives along Salem's ridge lines or brewing beer in the Elkins mountains.
This collaboration is what happens when local makers let the state's natural landscape do the talking.
One State. Two Makers.
Zero Shortcuts.
On Tap at Fox Hops Brewery • Elkins, WV
A smooth, sessionable ale brewed with raw wildflower honey from Flying B's Salem hives. Light-bodied with a clean floral finish — West Virginia from the first sip to the last.
The Process
Our bees work the wildflowers across Salem's ridge lines and valley floors through the summer months, gathering nectar from a mosaic of West Virginia blooms.
We extract from a single hive (hive #B-52) — cold-extracted — no filtration, no blending. The honey retains its full floral character, enzymes, and the unmistakable flavor of a West Virginia summer.
Every batch is hand-delivered to Fox Hops' Elkins brewery. Local to local, no middlemen, no compromises.
Flight Plan Honey Ale is brewed, conditioned, and poured on tap at 25 Bowstring Lane — available from the release party until the batch runs dry. This is a one-harvest run. When it's gone, it's gone.
